Saunders Robinson Brown wins prestigious New Zealand Gender Diverse Organisation of the Year Award 2019
Saunders Robinson Brown, is proud to have been chosen as the Gender Diverse Organisation of the Year at the 2019 Women in Governance Awards.
The Awards recognise and celebrate innovation, excellence, creativity and commitment to diversity by both organisations and individuals throughout New Zealand. Announced at a special Gala Dinner held at the Hilton Auckland on Thursday 20 June, the Awards were presented by the Minister for Women, Hon. Julie Anne Genter.
The judges commented that in awarding Saunders Robinson Brown the title the law firm had “demonstrated strong female representation in governance and senior leadership. They have shown commitment over a number of years to embed diversity strategies that have ensured female employees receive the mentoring and training they need to enable them to attain their career goals. Their commitment to gender equality is unquestionable.”

Other awards given out at the Gala Dinner included Not-for-Profit Governance Leader Award, Maori or Pasifika Governance Leader Award, Emerging Leader Award and the Supreme Award – Inspiring Governance Leader Award.
