Mycoplasma Bovis Assistance

The government has announced that it will be working with farming sector leaders to attempt to eradicate the mycoplasma bovis disease over the next few years.

The effect of this may place farmers under some pressure to meet short-term cash flow requirements and re-establish herds.  This is a distressing time for all of those that are affected by this.

Our rural team at Saunders Robinson Brown offer our full support to those affected and are aware of relief packages from banks (such as access to funding and waiver of bank fees), compensation through the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and further support through the Rural Support Trust.

We are always readily available to discuss options farmers have and to help work through the impacts of the outbreak.
