Henny Fairgray

Henny specialises in family law matters, including separation and relationship property agreements and proceedings; assisting with care arrangements for children; Care of Children Act proceedings; adoption and surrogacy; and family violence matters.  

Henny provides clear, practical advice and guidance in circumstances which can often be difficult and emotionally charged.

Henny graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2002 with a Bachelor of Laws and joined Saunders Robinson Brown in 2017 after a number of years practising at another Christchurch firm.

• Advising clients on relationship property agreements.

• Assisting clients with resolution of guardianship matters, including the name of a child, where a child is to attend school, whether a child can be relocated out of Christchurch.

• Acting for clients regarding adoption and surrogacy matters.

• Resolution of Hague Convention matters.

• Assisting with resolution of Contracting Out Agreements.

• Advising and representing clients in Family Court proceedings regarding division of property including farm property and international assets.
