Jacob Young

As a member of our Commercial team, Jacob assists with a range of commercial related matters including commercial property, leasing, business and company related matters and, intellectual property protection.

While at University, Jacob was active in the leadership of entre, a student-run non-profit organisation aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in Canterbury. Jacob therefore has an in-depth understanding of how start up businesses can be structured, governed and IP-protected in order to help it get off the ground.

Jacob graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2021 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance and Taxation). He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in September 2022.
