Akshay Kumar

Akshay assists the Commercial Team on wide range of commercial matters including property transactions, company law, leasing, business sale and purchase and commercial contracts.

Akshay joined Saunders Robinson Brown as a member of our Commercial Team in April 2022, having worked for one year in general practice at a law firm in Whanganui.

Akshay graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2019 with Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Taxation and Accounting.

Aside from English, Akshay is conversational in Hindi and Gujarati.

Notable experience

• Assisting and advising clients with all aspects of leases.

• Assisting clients with business and company related matters, including business sale and purchase, reviewing and drafting shareholders agreement.

• Assisting clients with property acquisitions, and related financing.

• Assisting property and business clients with refinancing.
