Lee is a Senior Partner and head of the Trusts & Estates Team at Saunders Robinson Brown.
Lee has extensive experience in property, commercial, and business law. He is also a leading New Zealand Sports Lawyer with a particular focus on cricket. He has acted for national bodies and individual athletes as well as representing organisations on sporting projects such as the development of Hagley Oval for Cricket.
Lee graduated from the University of Canterbury in 1975 and then spent three years working in the Land Titles office (now Land Information New Zealand) before joining another Christchurch firm in 1978.
He became a partner with that firm in 1982 before forming Saunders Robinson Brown with Geoff Saunders and Bill Brown in November 2001.

Sports and entertainment law matters.
Chair of Canterbury Cricket Trust which planned, sought Consent for, and developed Hagley Oval Christchurch, the installation of lighting towers, and the commissioning of the associated Sir Richard Hadlee Sport Centre.
Code of Conduct Commissioner for both New Zealand Cricket and the Canterbury Cricket Association since 1992.
Chair of the Canterbury Cricket Trust, Director of Akaroa Health Limited, Trustee of the Halberg Trust, former Trustee of the Richmond Mental Health Trust now Emerge Aotearoa, member of the New Zealand Law Society and Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit 2017, for contribution to Sport and Community.
