Sam Sutherland

Sam specialises predominantly in commercial matters, including commercial property, leasing, business sale and purchases, business re-restructuring and company law.

Sam graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2002 and practised at another large Christchurch law firm before taking time out to have a family.

Sam joined Saunders Robinson Brown in the Rangiora office in 2012 and became a Partner in 2022.

Notable experience

• Acts for a large overseas client in relation to their commercial leasing, acquisition and disposal of commercial property and rural assets in New Zealand.

• Acts for many commercial clients including: a large commercial building company, a large commercial service provider, large commercial landlords and a civil construction company.
