SRB announces Chief Operating Officer appointment

SRB has announced the appointment of Celyn Fenwick as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Canterbury based firm.

Fenwick, currently the People and Capability Manager at SRB, has been with the firm since July 2025.

With 16 years’ experience in a range of roles across the primary sector, government, insurance and the law he brings a breadth of leadership, operational and strategic experience to the newly created COO position.

SRB Managing Principal Jonathan Gillard welcomed Fenwick to his new role “SRB is confident and excited about  Celyn’s appointment as COO. His skillset and experience, particularly around organisational development, are well placed to lead the firm’s Business Services team and support the Principals to take SRB into the future. Congratulations Celyn!”.

The appointment is effective 1 June 2026.

After more than 20 years since first starting with SRB, current General Manager Jenny Stirling, will be stepping away from the firm in August to return home to the South and focus on new opportunities.
