SRB Launches Prize Offering For UC Law Students

Saunders Robinson Brown (SRB) has launched two prizes for University of Canterbury (UC) Law students.

The ‘Saunders Robinson Brown Early Legal Scholarship Prize’ is for the best student across LAWS 203 Contract, LAWS 205 Land and LAWS 206 Public Law.

The ‘Saunders Robinson Brown Trusts Prize’ will be awarded to the UC LAWS 301 Equity student with the best mark in the trusts assessment for the course.

Both prizes sponsored by SRB include a financial reward and will be celebrated at a prize-giving hosted by the firm. The prizes will be offered on an annual basis.

SRB Managing Partner Jonathan Gillard said “We are thrilled to be launching these prizes to recognise the up and coming legal talent at the University of Canterbury Faculty of Law. The prizes will be awarded to students who have excelled academically and we’re proud to support young people who live our own firm values in regards to commitment and setting excellence as a standard”.

Lynne Taylor, Acting Head of School, Faculty of Law says “The Faculty is delighted with and very grateful for the ongoing support Saunders Robinson Brown is providing to our student body”.

SRB staff will present at the UC Law Faculty as guest lecturers for the LAWS 301 Equity course in 2022.
